Single «Our own gale» from the Minsk band WESSP, which was released in 2011, is a logical continuation of EP «This will destroy us» both musically and on conceptual grounds.
Solid sound and rich guitar, which can not be expected from a recordings made in a kind of «non-professional» conditions from the first seconds cleans eardrums, clogged with musical trash. When keyboards are getting into act, electronic melody is expressing, and the midtempo drum section maintains a pleasant, non-aggressive rhythm throughout the track. It expands the feeling of a collision with something extraordinary. Vocals are breaking into the harmony of the musical fabric with surprisingly clean and high tone - something reminiscent of Placebo in their best years, but so clean, strong and original, that it makes it impossible to confuse with anything else.
To summarize, the track is full of the best trends of modern electronic alternative scene, but the style and distinctive sound clearly indicate the original author.
